Memorial Day

This is a little bit earlier in the McKenna time-line, but she wanted to let you know that she had a great Memorial Day Weekend! She got to hang-out with her friend Emma and her family at Circle C Park for lunch and had a great time!

McKenna's First Trip to Ft. Worth (and Hotel Stay)

McKenna's Dad likes to volunteer sometimes - "sometimes" meaning a lot. McKenna and mommy got to go with daddy to Ft. Worth for the State Bar Annual Meeting. She had a great time! She got to meet one of her dad's oldest friends, Miss Courtney (though she managed to get away without a picture), see lots of Ft. Worth, sleep in her first hotel (go Omni!), and meet her Uncle Dan's family. She still can't wait to meet Uncle Dan, but he's off defending our country over seas.

McKenna and Dean Heather Creed. Dean Creed works at Baylor Law. McKenna and daddy had a long talk about how not everyone is lucky enough to work at St. Mary's law. McKenna has decided to forgive her.


One of McKenna's favorite things to do at TYLA meetings is to hang out with Liberty's favorite, Mrs. Harbour.

McKenna's First Fundraiser

Seeing that McKenna's parents both work around government, it was just a matter of time before she attended her very first fundraiser, and what a time she had! She met senators, judges, commissioners and even got to hang out with her favorite future judge.

Yesterday McKenna was visited by Aunt Natalie (the creator of the famous bunny hat). They got to hang out while mommy and daddy were at work. Natalie gave McKenna her first ever...

Mother's Day Weekend

McKenna had a great weekend! She celebrated Mommy's first Mother's Day, wished her Grandma a happy Mother's Day (we'll let them fight over which grandma she meant), had some practice time on the kick-piano, worked on some tummy time, and managed to spend time with Dad on his birthday... that's a lot for a 9 week old to do in one weekend!

Apparently it has been two weeks since we have posted new photos of the McKenna formerly known as Niblet, and the grandparents are getting a little eager. Since dad is currently at the office without access to the camera, he has opted to appease the grandparents by posting the only photos he has access to. They're not all clear, but they're new and of McKenna. Enjoy!



This is from last night. McKenna attended her first ever Texas Young Lawyers dinner and had a great time!! She was introduced to dozens of her newest aunts and uncles, and also to the concept of humidity.


McKenna has mastered smiling and laughing. This was taken first thing in the morning - looking a little devious.

This is a little older, but its significant. This is McKenna's first time eating at a restaurant (though not the first attempt). Apparently she wanted to go to Outback for lunch that day.

Easter!

McKenna had a great Easter! Not only did she get to hang with Grandma and Great-Aunt Arleigh, but she also go to meet her new cousin Win AND she got to break-out the bunny ears again.

The Bunny Hat

Erin's high school friend, hairdresser to the stars, and all-around great person, Natalie made McKenna a crazy-awesome bunny had for Easter. Natalie learned how to knit by watching a youtube video just so she could make McKenna's hat.
