Mommy is thinking it is about time to update this blog!!!!!

I know it has been a while, well a really long while! In fact it has been almost 7 months since the last post here. Time has flown and my baby has grown up so much! We are now running (yes, we have already mastered the art of walking) and yes we have even more hair!

I am going to attempt uploading photos from the past 7 months over the next few days. Daddy normally did this, so it might take me a bit to get it down!

Memorial Day

This is a little bit earlier in the McKenna time-line, but she wanted to let you know that she had a great Memorial Day Weekend! She got to hang-out with her friend Emma and her family at Circle C Park for lunch and had a great time!

McKenna's First Trip to Ft. Worth (and Hotel Stay)

McKenna's Dad likes to volunteer sometimes - "sometimes" meaning a lot. McKenna and mommy got to go with daddy to Ft. Worth for the State Bar Annual Meeting. She had a great time! She got to meet one of her dad's oldest friends, Miss Courtney (though she managed to get away without a picture), see lots of Ft. Worth, sleep in her first hotel (go Omni!), and meet her Uncle Dan's family. She still can't wait to meet Uncle Dan, but he's off defending our country over seas.

McKenna and Dean Heather Creed. Dean Creed works at Baylor Law. McKenna and daddy had a long talk about how not everyone is lucky enough to work at St. Mary's law. McKenna has decided to forgive her.


One of McKenna's favorite things to do at TYLA meetings is to hang out with Liberty's favorite, Mrs. Harbour.

McKenna's First Fundraiser

Seeing that McKenna's parents both work around government, it was just a matter of time before she attended her very first fundraiser, and what a time she had! She met senators, judges, commissioners and even got to hang out with her favorite future judge.

Yesterday McKenna was visited by Aunt Natalie (the creator of the famous bunny hat). They got to hang out while mommy and daddy were at work. Natalie gave McKenna her first ever...
